The short version
- Proddi has no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and I don't run any servers that collect your data.
- Your tasks, points and rewards stay on your iPhone.
- Subscriptions go through Apple. I never see your payment details.
Who is behind Proddi
Proddi is made by an independent developer (Terraphin). In this policy, "I" and "me" mean the developer of Proddi. Questions? Email terraphin.contact@gmail.com.
Your tasks
Proddi saves what you put in it (tasks, steps, times, points, rewards and settings) on your iPhone only. It isn't sent anywhere.
Proddi's widgets and lock-screen timer read a copy of your next tasks that stays on the same iPhone.
Reminders and alarms
Reminders and alarms are set up on your iPhone through iOS. Their text (like the name of a task) stays on your device.
Brain dump and smart tips
On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, Proddi uses Apple's on-device model to turn a brain dump into tasks and to suggest tasks that might be missing. This runs on your iPhone. Your text isn't sent to me or to anyone else.
On other iPhones, Proddi does this with simple matching, also on your device.
Subscriptions
Proddi Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment. Proddi only receives a confirmation from Apple that you subscribed, so it can unlock Pro. I never see your name, card or payment details.
The reminder before a free trial ends is a notification set up on your iPhone.
Crash reports
If you've allowed "Share with App Developers" in your iPhone settings, Apple may share anonymous crash reports and usage statistics with me. You can turn this off in Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements.
Children
Proddi is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. I don't collect personal information from anyone.
Deleting your data
- In Proddi: Settings, then Reset app.
- Deleting Proddi removes everything it saved on your iPhone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
